Ten homes in Slough, owned by the same landlords, were raided by police and the council.
One home was deemed unfit to live in and children were found to have been put at risk by dodgy landlords.
Furthermore, the majority of the homes had problems with gas and electricity supplies.
The homes are all owned by the same people, who have not applied for a Landlord Licence.
Two of the homes were also found to be undeclared houses of multiple occupancy (HMOS).
The landlord could now be taken to court and fined.
Emergency work is being carried out at the home that was found to be unsafe.
