A landlord has left their tenants living in the dark after plastering a large iPhone advert across their windows without warning them.
The tenants in the north east London block of flats were not informed prior to the canvas being plastered across the front of their building and they claim nothing is being done.
Six flats in the block are affected including vulnerable families.
Local politician Dr Alex Armitage said residents in the block are living in “desperate” situations.
Hackney Council are reportedly aware of the huge canvas but are powerless to remove it.
