Several UK cities have been identified as having higher rates of road rage incidents than others.
The International Drivers Association surveyed 10,000 motorists and requested 43 FOI requests from UK police forces to find out the UK’s road rage hotspots.
Participants were asked when driving, which common road rage behaviours do you find yourself doing, and the FOI request was common behaviours of road rage reported.
- Manchester has been identified as a city with high rates of road rage incidents, particularly during rush hour traffic. Tailgating, cutting off other drivers, and honking are common behaviours, from both our study and the FOI request data.
