A man has been jailed for eight months and banned from the road for three years for motoring offences including drink-driving.
Scott Amos, of Jedburgh, appeared from custody at Edinburgh Sheriff Court to be sentenced for offences committed in February and April.
Amos admitted driving a vehicle while over the legal alcohol limit and failing to tell police the identity of a driver, as well as a breach of bail.
On a separate occasion, Amos failed to provide a sample of breath when required to do so by a police officer and behaved in a threatening or abusive manner.
Amos admitted a further charge of drink-driving, along with careless driving and breaching bail.
