A man who was caught speeding on a motorway journey from London to Nottingham to buy bread has been fined.
The man was in his car with his two young children.
He was caught driving at 110mph on the motorway.
When questioned by police, he told them he had been to London to buy bread claiming it was £1 cheaper there.
The man was handed two fixed penalty notices and reported to court for speeding.
