A driver was stopped by police who was travelling at speeds of 119mph during Storm Ciara.
The driver was pulled over by officers on the M6 in the early hours of the morning.
Posting on Twitter, the North West Motorway Police team said: “This vehicle was spotted on the M6 Thelwall – Speed up to 119mph in this weather!!
“Stopped and the driver had No Licence and No Insurance. Not going anywhere in a hurry now #Seized by #MO26@CheshireRCU#Fatal5”
