Legal body proposes new laws to regulate self-driving cars

The person in the driving seat of a self-driving vehicle would no longer be held responsible for accidents and infringements under law reforms proposed. The Law Commission of England and Wales and the Scottish Law Commission (the Law Commissions) have published their joint report, making recommendations for ‘the safe and responsible introduction of self-driving vehicles’.
